Elijah Dolan, a photographer from Boston, opens up to us about how and why he started his photography career. He shares that he was going through a really dark time in his life and felt that he didn't have a direction he wanted to go in, "then my dad bought me my first camera and the rest is history," he assures. Elijah continues on and tells us about his favorite piece he has created, "I think my favorite piece of work I've done so far would have to be the one with the woman spraying fire with a spray paint can. (the second photo below) It was kinda a wing it style of shoot, I knew about the location through word of mouth so we went out to search for it and it came out so sick."
"The one thing I would want to know when I first started my career," Elijah continues, "is not everything is going to come out the way you want it to but just to have fun, and to have patience and really just learn the camera." He also shares that he loves his photography experiences, such as being able to shoot the Boston music awards, or the pierre bourne show in New York.
Elijah's message to his supporters/audience: "Thank you for rocking with me and support the work and art that I do because without yall I wouldn't be where I am today."
