Making music always excited Egypt, from Boston, Massachusetts as a kid. "My cousins and I would pretend we had a band in my grandmother’s basement, but I didn’t really start writing until I was about 14." Her first freestyle she ever wrote was to Bryson Tiller’s “Don’t.” Currently, she has one song out but she plans to change that before the end of the summer. "I’m working on a project that will be well worth the wait," Egypt mentions.
Every Friday Egypt posts a freestyle on Instagram, she calls them "F*** With It or Don’t Fridays." (#FWIODFridays) "It’s exactly what the title says. You can like it or don’t. Either way I’m going to continue putting out content." She followed up by saying that she came up with the name after posting a few videos to give herself a little more confidence because she was always nervous about letting people hear her music.
Egypt's favorite quote is “You have to hurt in order to know. Fall in order to grow. Lose in order to gain. Because most of life’s lessons are learned in pain." - J. Cole
